On May 15–16, Parkovy Convention and Exhibition Center hosted DOU Day 2026, the largest technology conference for Ukraine’s IT community. This year, the event reached a record scale, bringing together more than 5,000 attendees, over 200 speakers, and eight thematic tracks across two days.
The event occupied every venue within the complex. Once again, the organizers rented the entire Parkovy and adapted each space to meet the conference’s specific needs.
The central lobby hosted the Future Stage, featuring theatre-style seating and discussions on future technologies, game development, and AI architecture.
The third floor became the conference’s main networking area. On the summer terrace overlooking the Dnipro River, attendees relaxed, connected, and exchanged contacts in an informal atmosphere.
The third-floor conference areas hosted the Growth Stage, featuring a stage and informal seating. Attendees could also take a break and play retro video games.
The Convention and Concert Hall served as the central venue of the event, hosting the Core Stage – the main platform for discussions on key technology trends. The hall featured a classic conference setup, with a large stage and theatre-style seating for thousands of guests. One of the programme’s highlights was the panel discussion “What Should Businesses Do in the AI Era?”, featuring Taras Kytsmey, co-founder of SoftServe; Vitalii Sedler, CEO of Intellias; Tetiana Lukyniuk, Country Director at Google Ukraine; and Vlada Zatsarynnа, CEO of DOU.
The Core Stage programme culminated in a live performance by the band Zhadan i Sobaky, which closed the official conference programme.
The Small Exhibition Hall hosted the Engineering Stage, a dedicated platform for developers covering programming languages, software architecture, cybersecurity, and innovations in coding.
The Big Exhibition Hall combined the Business & Startup Stage with an extensive expo area. A separate space at the far end of the hall was dedicated to the stage, featuring theatre-style seating and discussions on launching and scaling IT businesses.
The second part of the Big Exhibition Hall featured exhibition stands from Boosta, MacPaw, Genesis, Ciklum, and other leading IT companies. Attendees explored new technologies, spoke with recruiters, and took part in prize draws.
The organizers even made use of the complex’s shelter, which hosted the Podcast Stage. There, podcasters spoke with industry guests in a live-recording format without slides or formal presentations.
Food courts offering a wide selection of dishes and an open-air lounge area were set up in the courtyard behind the complex, giving attendees a place to sit, relax, and have a meal between sessions.
In addition to the main stages, the programme included five micro-stages for Q&A sessions, a meetup area, and a startup zone where emerging companies presented their products to potential investors.
The event culminated in an afterparty concert at Park Hall for speakers and PRO ticket holders.
DOU Day 2026 became the largest edition in the conference’s history. For the third consecutive year, Parkovy served as the venue for the country’s leading IT event.
