On May 16–17, 2025, the Parkovy Convention and Exhibition Center once again hosted one of the biggest events of Ukraine’s tech community — DOU Day 2025.
This year, the conference gathered more than 3,700 participants, including developers, entrepreneurs, military representatives, and tech leaders. Over two days, guests attended more than 100 talks across nine stages, joined panel discussions and workshops, explored new technologies, and connected with like-minded professionals.
The entire Parkovy venue was activated for DOU Day. As last year, organizers rented the full complex and transformed every area to fit the event’s format. In the central lobby, participants checked in, grabbed welcome coffee, collected programs and first souvenirs — and this year, the lobby also became home to a dedicated Startup Stage.
The Convention and Concert Hall served as the heart of the event, hosting the two largest stages:
Main Stage — focused on key tech trends, practical case studies, industry insights, and future predictions. Among the speakers were leading industry figures such as Max Ishchenko (Founder of DOU & Djinni), top executives of Ukrainian tech companies, and representatives of state initiatives.
Architecture Stage — tailored for software architects and tech leads, featuring sessions on complex systems, scaling challenges, and advanced engineering practices. One of the speakers was Viktor Turskyi, co-founder of WebbyLab and former Google engineer.
The Big Exhibition Hall was divided into two independent tracks:
Product & Marketing Stage — focused on product strategy, analytics, UX trends, and business growth. Speakers included CPOs from major companies such as YouControl and Ajax, as well as product managers building global solutions from Ukraine.
Software Development Stage — dedicated to programming languages, frameworks, best practices, performance, and code security. The agenda was structured into multiple thematic blocks to cover as many topics as possible.
The Small Exhibition Hall also hosted two streams: Testing Stage, where QA experts shared best practices, and AI & Data Science Stage.
Rest Hall Event Space was transformed into the PRO Stage. Beyond lectures, the area offered a relaxed environment for informal conversations. Park Hall Event Space and the open summer terrace hosted networking and catering zones.
For guests who preferred to spend time outdoors, Parkovy’s back courtyard became a full open-air lounge. Multiple food courts with diverse menus lined the space. Large outdoor screens streamed conference sessions live, ensuring attendees never missed a talk.
On the third floor and throughout conference zones, three mini-stages were set up for intimate lectures and a GameDev Corner for gaming industry enthusiasts.
During breaks, participants visited partner booths from leading IT companies — including Genesis, Uklon, EPAM, Sigma Software, GlobalLogic, and more — spoke with recruiters, engaged with community representatives, and joined prize raffles.
The event culminated with a live performance by the Ukrainian band Kurgan & Agregat.
Despite all challenges, Ukraine’s tech community continues to grow and generate groundbreaking ideas. We thank the DOU team for their trust and partnership for the second year in a row — and we are already looking forward to DOU Day 2026!
