On September 28-29, the grand event of the year for experts and enthusiasts of bar culture – BAROMETER International Bar Show 2024 – took place at the Parkovy Congress and Exhibition Center. This year's event was a real reunion of the bar community of Ukraine, gathering on one site several thousand fans of cocktail culture and mixology.
The guests had the opportunity to plunge into the world of innovation, trends and profound changes in the industry. The theme of the year was "HUMANS" – it was dedicated to the professional and human evolution in the bar industry and the hospitality industry in general.
BAROMETER 2024 in numbers:
- two days of unique experience;
- more than 6.5 thousand visitors;
- 16 bars from different cities of Ukraine;
- 70 speakers, 49 lectures and 64 tastings;
- more than 100 alcohol brands in the exhibition area;
- 8 charity guest bartendings in support of Superhumans Center (invited guests were: Positiff, Zlata Ognevich, Anatoly Anatolych, Mari Cheba, Angus Winchester, Maria Ozirna (Spiritual Lychko), Vadym Melnychenko)
The event covered several
locations of the complex on the first and third floors.
The
Big Exhibition Hall (BEH) was presented as an expo zone, where 16 participating bars from all over the country and more than 100 alcohol brands presented their best cocktails.
At the BEH location with an area of 2000 square meters, guests had the opportunity to taste cocktails, feel new tastes and trends in bar culture.
The event also presented a new direction of BAROMETER in support of Ukrainian craft producers of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Guests had the opportunity to visit the stands of the participants-crafters, as well as listen to their lectures on all the features of drinks and their production within the BRMTR CRAFTS lecture hall.
The
Small Exhibition Hall housed two of the three Professional Tasting Rooms, where industry professionals organized lectures and tasting sessions that made it possible to get acquainted with new and classic lines of exquisite alcoholic beverages.
The last Professional Tasting Room was located in one of the
conference rooms on the third floor. There were also organized lecture halls, where there were speeches by experts, brand ambassadors and foreign speakers who shared knowledge about bar culture, карʼєру in the hospitality industry, highlighted the latest trends and innovations.
This year, the organizers of BAROMETER, the Hoteliero company, prepared for the guests a richer program than ever, so the
Convention and Concert Hall, at the Main Stage, also hosted performances by top speakers who shared insights and important details of the industry. Due to the unique layout of the complex, the locations are placed nearby, so guests could quickly move around and participate in all the activities offered by the event.
On the
summer terrace was a Food & Lounge Zone, where visitors could enjoy dishes from five Kyiv establishments, as well as relax in an open location with stunning views of the capital and the Dnipro.
The summer terrace, like all locations, was open for networking, communication and rich activities for two days. Guests had the opportunity to visit all the desired activities of the program and how to relax.
The organizers of BAROMETER, the Hoteliero company, actively support the center of prosthetics and rehabilitation of the Superhumans Center, transferring part of the profits from tickets and 100% of the profits from all BAROMETER interactions and activities in support of the Center.
BAROMETER International Bar Show 2024 is already the fifth large-scale event from Hoteliero at Parkovy for 2024, which gathered an unusually large audience and created an unforgettable atmosphere of unity, energy and grandeur. Let's recall the previous events in detail:

Ukrainian Gastro Show 2024 gathered the country's leading chefs - true masters of their craft - to explore the connection of food with our heritage, culture, history and identity. More than 600 participants, 18 inspiring speakers and 9 hours of professional content - all in just one of Hoteliero's events.

Be wine 2024, which was traditionally held at Parkovy on the last weekend of May, brought together more than 4,000 guests - wine connoisseurs, professional sommeliers, hoteliers, local and international producers, wine industry experts and HoReCa representatives.

Young Chefs 2024 – a completely new format of the event from Hoteliero, first presented in Parkovy, gathered more than 800 guests to create gastronomic trends. The event brought together new generation chefs, restaurateurs, food researchers, artists and fudiz to leave vivid impressions and share their own experiences!
