On October 15-16, the two-day New Food Summit 2024 was held at Parkovy CEC. The event united owners, co-owners and founders of companies, CEOs, directors, heads of departments and projects, development managers, marketing managers and trade managers, as well as technologists to find new development opportunities for business, as well as learn about the latest trends and innovations in the field of new food – technologies and businesses that change the nutrition of the future.
The event took place on the third floor of the complex. The passage of the third floor (prefunction zone) was presented as an expo zone, where guests could get acquainted with the products at partner stands, exchange experiences and take something useful for their own business. The summit participants also had the opportunity to see breakthrough solutions for the agro and food industries and taste innovative products in the NEW FOOD BAR.
For two days, the guests had a rich program in the Convention and Concert Hall, during which there were 7 sessions: panel discussions, pitch talks, case studies, as well as speeches by top speakers, including:
The speakers discussed extremely relevant topics of today, including: rethinking local products, entering global markets, leadership, the importance of attracting grants and investments, as well as a megatrend that is gaining momentum in the food market – a healthy diet.
"So far, this is a small percentage of the market, but it is constantly growing. We masshabat the entire network of healthy food shelves, because the buyer wants an increasing range and clear identification of such products," – said Sergiy Chyorny, director of the department of own brands of the supermarket chain VARUS.
On the first day of the event, an air alarm was announced, but the program for the duration of the alert was continued in a shelter on the -1 floor, where the organizers provided technical support in advance and everything necessary for such a case. Due to the convenient planning of the complex's locations and the placement of navigation elements, the guests did not spend much time moving to a safe place and restoring the main program and networking.
Within the framework of the event, a startup pitching session was also held, organized under the partnership of CIVITTA Ukraine and Radar Tech, with the presentation of eight startups in the foodtech sector. The jury members gave the victory to the Grain Mole project, which intends to offer the market a system for monitoring the state of grain in floor warehouses, which will prevent losses due to crop damage.
Parkovy Team is grateful to the organizers for choosing a complex and holding an event! See you later!
