The Pro-Integrity Event for International Anti-Corruption Day Took Place at Parkovy
On December 9, the Pro-Integrity project, with support from the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) and the Office of the Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, held an event dedicated to International Anti-Corruption Day. The meeting reviewed Ukraine’s achievements in promoting integrity and fighting corruption over the past ten years, as well as the tasks ahead for our country on its path to European integration.
John Finkel, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv, emphasized in his speech that Ukraine has made significant strides in combating corruption even while waging a war of survival. He reaffirmed that the United States will continue to support Ukraine by helping to build a robust anti-corruption infrastructure and drive reforms.
Martin Harris, Her Majesty’s Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Ukraine, highlighted the importance of Pro-Integrity—a project funded by both the U.S. and the U.K.—which is currently strengthening integrity measures within 13 ministries and agencies, with plans to expand into more than 80 local government bodies across the country.
Approximately 400 participants attended the event, occupying both the Big Exhibition Hall and Small Exhibition Hall on the complex’s first floor. The versatile layout allowed the organizers to run parallel sessions, enabling guests to:
