On October 20, 2025, the Congress and Exhibition Center Parkovy hosted the conference “Energy That Keeps Ukraine Running”, initiated by RBC-Ukraine. The event brought together leaders of the energy sector, government officials, and other stakeholders to discuss the urgent challenges of the 2025–2026 heating season.
During the conference, several expert panels examined how Ukraine’s energy sector is preparing for winter amid ongoing wartime destruction. Key topics included protecting the energy system from Russian attacks, ensuring the stability of fuel supplies and pricing, increasing gas production and imports, and implementing innovative solutions such as distributed generation and energy storage systems.
The event took place in the Big Exhibition Hall. For more than 100 participants, the organizers used only half of the venue — which proved sufficient to accommodate comfortable theater-style seating, a stage for panel discussions, and dedicated areas for networking and media work. Parkovy’s spaces are easily adaptable to events of different scales and guest numbers.

Across five panel discussions, participants concluded that international support, regulatory reforms, and technological innovation will be the key factors enabling Ukraine to withstand and overcome this winter’s energy challenges and those of the coming years. The conference outlined the profile of an industry striving to become more self-sufficient, sustainable, and resilient — despite wartime threats and the pressing need to modernize the energy economy.
Thank you to the organizers for choosing the Parkovy complex as the venue for the event.
