All-Ukrainian rapid chess tournament took place at Parkovy

On June 30, 2024, the All-Ukrainian Rapid Chess Tournament was held at the Parkovy Congress and Exhibition Center with the support of Ukrnafta. The competition was attended by 182 participants from all over Ukraine.

The event took place in the Big Exhibition Hall, namely in the half of the location with an area of 1000 square meters separated by mobile soundproofing partitions. The opening was made by the Minister of Youth and Sports Matvey Bedny and the Minister for Strategic Industry Alexander Kamyshin, who immediately after played a light chess game. 

The prize fund was 200,000 UAH, and the winner was the chess master – Odessa Mikhail Tobak. Another 15 participants in different categories received prizes from the sponsor of the competition Ukrnafta.

The Parkovy team thanks the organizers for organizing the event and fully supports the initiative to develop this sector in Ukraine. We will look forward to new events.
