On December 18, 2024, the second VICTORY HARVEST Conference was held at Parkovy Congress and Exhibition Center. A large farming community gathered to thank the funds of Howard Buffett for the great help in difficult times due to the full-scale aggression of the russian federation, as well as to hear about plans for the future, exchange experiences, and ask questions to representatives of the Ukrainian authorities.
The event took place on the third floor of CEC Parkovy. The prefunction space housed a large-scale expo zone with products that guests could buy and taste. Very close, the organizers arranged catering and networking zones in
conference rooms, which, thanks to the mobility of the location, were turned into open areas according to the format of the event.
The main program of the event unfolded in the
Convention and Concert Hall, where the participants, after a break and exchange of impressions, could get there in a matter of seconds without wasting time.
Arriving in Ukraine to take part in the VICTORY HARVEST conference, American billionaire Howard Buffett celebrated his birthday in the country for the second time. The philanthropist emphasized the role of Ukrainian partners with whom the Buffett Foundation manages to best realize its plans. According to him, these are people who can be trusted.
Buffett stressed that the United States wants to see Ukraine successful and remains committed to supporting the country. He assured that the foundation would not reduce support for Ukraine in 2025, continuing to develop all available areas and introducing new ones.
Among the invited personalities were also:
- Bridget Brink, Ambassador;
- Vitaliy Koval, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine
- Olha Rudnieva, CEO of Superhumans;
- Serhiy Smetanko, Director of the Department of Economics of Security and Defense;
- Pavlo Zibrov, Ukrainian pop singer, etc.
The event also featured a ceremony awarding farmers with the foundation's insignia. Representatives of the government, business and charitable organizations joined the socially significant discussions. Such a dialogue has become an important impetus for the development of agro in Ukraine.
