On 31 January–1 February, the sixth annual UHRS Congress took place at Parkovy Congress and Exhibition Center — a charity and scientific congress that brought together hundreds of trichologists from Ukraine and around the world. At a time when the country lives between challenges and hope, specialists chose to come together to speak about science, clinical solutions, and the future of medicine.
The two-day program combined Ukraine’s national evidence-based practice with international standards from the United States, Europe, Asia, and Latin America, as well as new treatment protocols for alopecia areata and innovations in clinical, regenerative, and rehabilitation trichology.
Among the speakers were leading international experts, including Maria Khordinski (USA), Maria Fernanda Gavadzoni (Brazil), Rodrigo Pirmez (Brazil), Chan Hoon Huh (South Korea), Dmytro Vol (Ireland), Mathilde Joritso (Switzerland), Akakiy Tsilosani (Georgia), as well as Ukrainian specialists such as Yuliia Ovcharenko, Inessa Serbina, Kuzma Khobzei, Svitlana Vozianova, and others.
One of the key moments of the Congress was the presentation of the updated national clinical guidelines for the management of alopecia areata — the result of joint work by Ukrainian experts and the integration of international experience. The event also featured the official launch of L'Oréal’s new product, Regene Booster, for the treatment of androgenetic alopecia.
Traditionally, supporting young professionals remained an important part of the Congress: the winners received a Travel Grant to attend the World Congress of Trichology 2026 in Rio de Janeiro and WCHR 2026 in South Korea.
The Congress was held in the Big Exhibition Hall — a versatile 2,000 sq. m. industrial-style space. A stage was arranged in the center of the hall, with guests seated banquet-style at round tables. Around it, an expo area with partner stands was set up, along with a dedicated catering zone. The first day concluded with a musical performance by SHUMEI.
UHRS Congress is an annual event that shapes the strategic direction of trichology in Ukraine and beyond.
Parkovy is proud to be the venue where the future of the medical profession is born and the unity of the professional community grows stronger.
