On March 6, 2026, the UBN Network business community held its quarterly live event War & Business: How Businesses Survived This Winter & What 2026 Will Bring at
Park Hall Event Space, located within Parkovy Congress and Exhibition Center.
The event brought together over 120 participants from dozens of international and Ukrainian companies to gain updates on geopolitics, macroeconomics, and business sentiment following a challenging winter.
The meeting was opened by UBN co-founder Andrew Pryma, who introduced new community members and thanked the general sponsor — Piraeus Bank — as well as the energy partner — Alteco.
UBN co-founder Mark McNamee then presented a geopolitical and macroeconomic overview, engaging the audience in a discussion on business sentiment and baseline scenarios for 2026.
The practical session focused on risk management and business resilience. Security experts joined the discussion, along with energy sector speaker Vitalii Butenko, who outlined the current state of the energy system and investment opportunities in the electricity sector. The formal part concluded with a presentation of the Children of Heroes Charity Fund.
The
Event Hall on the third floor became a space where two essential parts of a Ukraine Business News gathering naturally came together: a content-driven discussion from the stage and informal networking afterward. The main program took place in a hall with theater-style seating, while the panoramic terrace became the center of dynamic networking.
