On September 27, at the Parkovy Congress and Exhibition Center, at the War & Business conference sponsored by Piraeus Bank in Ukraine and organized by UBN Network – Andrew Pryma, MBA, and Mark McNamee, high-ranking officials, top managers of Western business, foreign embassies and international organizations gathered.
The event was held in
Park Hall Event Space – a spacious location with two halls, one of which has a stage and seating for guests, and the other – a catering area and a networking section.
At the beginning, Mark McNamee, co-founder of UBN Network, presented a macroeconomic and business review for Ukraine: forecasts, war scenarios, discussion with participants about the future and additional analytical information.
During the event, two discussion panels took place, and among speakers were:
- Volodymyr Lepushynskyi – Director of the National Bank of Ukraine;
- Oleksii Sobolev – First Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine;
- Alessandro Zanelli – CEO of Nestlé South Eastern Europe;
- Oliver Gierlichs – General Manager of Bayer;
- Giannis Kyriakopoulos – Chairman of the Board of Piraeus Bank in Ukraine;
- Eugene Ivanitsa – Director of JYSK Ukraine.
The experts discussed in detail the current macroeconomic situation, the prospects for the energy situation, the impact on investors, as well as plans for 2025.
Iryna Soloshenko, the head of the Kolo Foundation, and Serhiy Mamzin, a military veteran, also performed at UBN Network, and spoke about the incredible work of medical evacuation trains from the frontline.
After the main program, Open Bar by GAMONDI was waiting for guests, where participants had the opportunity to chat, have a snack and try VR 3D Simulator in action.
