On 12 March 2025 the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Ukraine, together with the State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine, presented the key directions for advancing energy efficiency and the results of joint initiatives supporting the energy sector at the forum “Energy Efficiency: The Path to Energy Security and Recovery.”
The event took place in the Small Exhibition Hall (525 m²) of the Parkovy Congress and Exhibition Center. It gathered more than 300 participants from across Ukraine who discussed achievements, challenges, and next steps in implementing energy‑efficient solutions for the recovery and sustainable development of the country’s energy sector.
International partners included Ole Egberg Mikkelsen, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Denmark to Ukraine, and Thorsten Wöllert, Minister‑Counsellor for Energy, Climate and Environment at the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine.

During the forum, participants highlighted progress on one of the key financing instruments for energy‑efficiency projects and renewable energy deployment—the Decarbonisation Fund of Ukraine, which expands access to funding for municipalities and businesses.
