On October 11, 2024, the Ukrainian Livestock Summit, organized by ProAgro Group, was held at the Parkovy Congress and Exhibition Center, which brought together more than 600 participants. The event has become a leading domestic platform for discussing current trends and problematic issues in the development of livestock, poultry, processing of livestock products and feed production.
"This year, the summit also changed its location – for the first time it took place in the CEC Parkovy, where visitors appreciated the comfort of work and the quality of service," – the organizers of the event noted.
The event took place in the
Big Exhibition Hall on the first floor of Parkovy. At the location with a plane of 2000 square meters. m is a theatrical seating area opposite a large technological stage. There is also a catering area with comfortable tables where guests could exchange views.
Part of the location was set aside for the Livestock Expo 2024 exhibition of equipment and technological solutions in the field of livestock, at which more than 40 companies supplying products, services and innovations for the sector presented their expositions.
During the summit, six discussion panels were held on poultry farming, pig breeding, cattle breeding, feed production and processing of livestock products. They were attended by more than forty speakers – managers and leading specialists of livestock farms, processing enterprises, feed mills, service companies. Among the speakers:
- Oleg Klimenko – Director of ProAgro Group;
- Leonid Kozachenko – President of the Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation;
- Taras Vysotsky – First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy;
- Oleksandr Gaidu – Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Agrarian and Land Policy;
- Yuliya Flerova – CEO of Yasensvit;
- Roman Kantarovsky – Head of Development of External Investment Projects of VITAGRO Group;
- Vadim Chagarovsky – Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Union of Dairy Enterprises of Ukraine.
On all panels and discussions, the emphasis certainly shifted from current problems to finding ways to overcome them. Concrete proposals were heard, cases of manufacturers with examples of effective solutions were given, as well.
In addition to the main stage, guests also had the opportunity to listen to informative performances in
conference rooms placed on the location and separated by mobile soundproof partitions. Therefore, participants could independently choose the most convenient networking format for themselves, without interfering with each other due to convenient configurations.
The event was organized jointly with the Ukrainian-European Business Hub, the Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation, the Union of Dairy Enterprises of Ukraine, the Livestock farming institute of NAAS of Ukraine, Odessa National Technological University, and the Interregional Union of Poultry Farmers and Feed Producers of Ukraine with the support of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine.
