On December 5 and 6, two final events of the year were held at the Parkovy Congress and Exhibition Center for owners and top managers of retail, retail real estate and B2B sector companies – RAU Summit and RAU Awards.
The key theme of the jubilee Tenth RAU Summit was the topic "Prospects and new trajectories of retail development in 2024." An extremely important component of RAU Summit 2023 was the participation in it of representatives of the Ukrainian government: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Yuliya Svyrydenko and Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine Oksana Zholnovych. They shared their best practices, and could also hear the opinion of business regarding interaction with government agencies.
In total, 30 speakers spoke at the event, representing various areas of trade, development and V2V segment. At the anniversary RAU Summit 2023, the first persons of key players in the retail and commercial real estate sectors gathered, representatives of investors and financial institutions, consultants and manufacturers – employees of such companies, as Epicentr K, Auchan Ukraine, EVA, Aurora, Allo, Rozetka, Silpo, Ukrzoloto, Comfy, Vovk, WOG, Lviv Croissants, FAMO, Pinky, shopping center Sky Park, Victoria Gardens, Dragon Capital, Oschadbank, Kyivstar, Num8erz, MHP and many others.
More than 500 participants gathered at the RAU anniversary event – a record figure.
RAU Summit was held on December 5, and the next day another important event from the Association of Retailers of Ukraine was held – the ceremony of awarding the best retailers RAU Awards.
RAU Awards 2023 guests were top managers and line managers of companies that not only provide Ukrainians with everything necessary during a full-scale war, but also play a key role in the formation and development of a civilized retail market in the country: Epicenter, Silpo, Allo, Antoshka, Toy House, KOLO, Aurora, ATB, Intertop, LPP, New Balance, Comfy, Dragon Capital, Budhouse Group, RDA, Respublika Park, EVA, Colliers, Foxtrot, Mall Retroville, Intimissimi, ANC, WOG, etc.
The best retail companies competed for victory in 18 nominations, shopping and entertainment centers fought for victory in eight nominations. The winners were determined by voting of the Expert Council, which included representatives of profile associations, retail, development, consulting and brokerage companies, and by open voting of market participants. Both events – RAU Summit and RAU Awards were held in the
Big Exhibition Hall on the first floor of the CEC Parkovy. For the first day, a classic conference setup was built up in the hall – with a large stage and theatrical seating.
For the second day, the setup was changed to a more informal format of the event, leaving a large stage on which the award ceremony took place.
Also for guests both days there was an underground shelter on the -1 floor, where it was possible to quickly and conveniently move in case of air alert.
