On November 22, Kyiv hosted the technological event of the year – the conference "Forbes Tech 2024: Technologies for your business." The participants discussed ideas on how to achieve business goals with the help of technologies in conditions of limited resources and stay in the context of world technological trends. The conference united more than 350 guests and was a great opportunity for professional networking and exchange of experience between industry leaders. And most importantly – reminded that the development of technology and Ukrainian business will be the key to our victory.
The event took place on the third floor of the complex.
The main program was held in the
Convention and Concert Hall, where 57 speakers spoke at four thematic sessions, including:
- Kateryna Kruk, META Head of Public Policy for Central and Eastern Europe,
- Leonid Polupan, Head of Microsoft in Ukraine and Baltic countries,
- Mykhailo Fedorov, Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Development of Education, Science and Technology - Minister of Digital Transformation,
- Tetyana Lukinyuk, Head of Google in Ukraine,
- Vitaliy Sedler, co-founder and CEO of Intellias, and others.
For eight hours, the guests attended panel discussions, interviews, pitch, keynote, as well as a show on the topic "Demonstration of capabilities: what AI can already do if the task is set by people with outstanding intelligence. Three practical cases."
In particular, Mykhailo Fedorov gave insights on how in half a year they increased the efficiency tenfold with the help of OKR, and the director, head of strategy and operational improvements in Ukraine of KPMG consulting company Andriy Tymoshenko and Forbes Ukraine editor-in-chief Boris Davydenko presented a study of the most digitalized sectors of the economy.
Participants also attended three workshops, which were held in
conference rooms near the Convention and Concert Hall simultaneously with the main program of performances. Speakers discussed such topics as: "How to jump off the "needle" of Russian software," “How to tell Ukrainian business about yourself so that the world hears," and "Checklist: what business should do to be ready for cyber attacks during a hybrid war."
