Ukrainian Employers Annual Meeting 2024 is the annual meeting of visionaries of the Federation of Employers of Ukraine. The event took place on December 17 at the Parkovy Congress and Exhibition Center and gathered about 200 participants: leaders of Ukrainian business, representatives of the Government, the Verkhovna Rada, international partners, and others. This meeting became a landmark moment for discussing the year’s results and defining strategic directions for the development of Ukrainian business.
The event took place in the
Big Exhibition Hall on the first floor of the complex. The organizers rented half of the venue, covering an area of 1,000 sq.m., for presentations, discussions, awards, and networking.
On the discussion panels, they talked about resilience and development strategies for Ukrainian manufacturers, support for the national economy, euro-integration challenges for Ukrainian business, and many other important and topical issues. At the event, companies and partners were also honored in the nominations “Unbreakable Business of an Unbreakable Country,” “Ambassadors of Investments,” “Ambassador of ‘Made in Ukraine,’” “Industrial Phoenix,” and “Support Ukraine – Support Ukrainian Business.”
The following important initiatives supported by the Federation of Employers of Ukraine were also highlighted:
- The EU Council finally approved the extension of the duty-free trade regime for Ukraine until June 2025;
- The “transport visa-free” regime for Ukrainian carriers was extended;
- The booking system was improved in the interests of business
- The right of defense-industrial suppliers to profit was regulated
- The state program of 25% COMPENSATION FOR UKRAINIAN AGRICULTURAL MACHINERY was restored;
- A new state program of 15% COMPENSATION FOR THE PURCHASE OF UKRAINIAN EQUIPMENT in several categories was launched;
- Defense-industry enterprises gained access to the “Affordable Loans 5-7-9” program;
- A catalog of manufacturers “Ukrainian Equipment for Communities” was created, and a nationwide roadshow for its presentation began;
- The government supported the FEU initiative symbolically named “Industrial Ramstein” – humanitarian aid to Ukrainian enterprises through the supply of industrial equipment lost due to Russian armed aggression;
- Our initiative “Support Ukraine with Ukrainian Goods” is gaining increasing understanding and support from international partners and donors, and Ukrainian manufacturers are receiving new orders;
- The FEU Defence nationwide association was created to unite defense-industrial enterprises to create synergy in bringing Victory closer;
- Dozens of FEU business delegations were sent to various countries, and 9 National stands were organized at international exhibitions.
