On June 5, a presentation of the documentary film “On The Frontier. The Heroic Story of the Journalist from the Front-Line Newspaper,” prepared by the information service of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine, took place at the Parkovy Congress and Exhibition Center.
The event took place on the third floor of the complex, namely in the Rest Hall Event Space – a technological and spacious location where guests could comfortably stay and enjoy the film. For greater convenience, the audience sofas are located in the form of an amphitheater for 55 people.
"We decided to show this film in the center of Parkovy, one of the most luxurious new centers of Ukraine, in order to honor journalists from front-line newspapers. We invited colleagues from the Kherson, Mykolayiv, Donetsk, and Zaporizhzhya regions to the presentation," said Sergiy Tomilenko, the President of the NUJU. All of them received thanks from the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy and awards of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine.
The film tells about the work of the front-line newspaper Zoria from Zolochiv, Kharkiv region, and its editor-in-chief Vasyl Miroshnyk, who attended the presentation. After the screening of the film, Head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Freedom of Speech Yaroslav Yurchyshyn presented Vasyl Miroshnyk with an honorary Certificate of Parliament.
The Parkovy team is grateful to the organizers for choosing a complex to honor Ukrainian hero journalists. We look forward to new joint projects and initiatives!
