On November 6, at the location of
Park Hall (CEC Parkovy), a presentation of the charitable foundation "Kateryna Osadcha Foundation" was held. A year and a half, since the full-scale invasion, a large team of the leading TV channel "1 + 1 Ukraine" Kateryna Osadcha worked in many areas of assistance to Ukrainians. During this time, the organization was scaled and for more help there was a need for legal status. Now the foundation has announced two main areas of work – assistance in finding the missing and custody of children left without parents. Combining these project initiatives into one fund will provide an opportunity to expand cooperation with government agencies, attract international partners to solve problems and help even more powerful.
"For a year and a half of the existence of the" Find Your Own "project, we received and processed 7818 applications. We found 3299 civilians. Our first successes - and we jumped with happiness, now it has become a system and I am very happy that we continue to help and do not despair. This is a very difficult direction, and now it has become even more difficult to look for people. A month ago, the Council of Europe recognized civilian captivity as a crime against humanity. This is a big step and we will continue to work to ensure that more is said about civilian captivity. It is very important to draw parallels between Ukraine and Israel. Hamas took 260 civilians hostage and the whole world speaks about it, and our civilian prisoners are more than 7 and a half thousand," – said Kateryna Osadcha about the “Find Your Own” project.
The Kateryna Osadcha Foundation, together with the “Your Support” Foundation, are working on the problem of orphanhood in Ukraine, in particular, they are buying apartments for family-type orphanages. Now the team is in the process of buying three houses at once for large families with adopted children who were left without housing because of the war.
Kateryna Osadcha and her team also opened the first pilot Center for psychological, social and legal assistance to children and parents of various family forms of education. Now families adopting children will be able to seek any help from specialists.
From the very beginning of the full-scale invasion, Kateryna Osadcha's volunteer organization has been working closely with the state authorities, so Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk came to support the initiative to create the Kateryna Foundation, who was nearby and helped the project for all these year and a half. Also presentation was visited by the governor of the Kyiv region Ruslan Kravchenko, director Ahtem Seytablayev, actor Olexiy Tritenko, the host of "ZhVL Presents" Timur Miroshnychenko with his wife Inna, designers Katya Silchenko, Ivan Frolov, Elvira Khasanova and the host of the TV channel "1 + 1 Ukraine" Yuriy Gorbunov.
