On September 14, the closed premiere of the family musical Refrigerator House took place at Parkovy Congress and Exhibition Center. Ukrainian production company AMAconcert, known for such large-scale projects for the whole family as Winterville at Emily Resort in Lviv and Osocor winter residence in Kyiv, has created a unique author's musical of a new format.
Among the guests were: Ilona Gvozdeva, Daniel Salem, Lida Lee, Alexey Komarovsky, Grigory Baklanov, Olga Martynovska, Evhenii Lamakh, the leading actor Aram Arzumanyan and specially invited Ukrainian families.
"Tonight we shared the evening with the families from Masha Efrosinina Foundation – women and children who suffered from the war. After we heard the comments of all the families who came to the performance, and especially the words of our little guests who were delighted and said that they wanted more, our team realized that everything was possible," –– said the producer of the performance Kateryna Sigida.
The plot of the play is very original – the refrigerator, which speaks in the voice of Aram Arzumanyan, tells the story of the family in which it lives, in general, we can learn about it taking into account the products that live in the refrigerator and the dishes that each family member prepares. Therefore, grandmother cooks excellent borsch, and dad sometimes likes to treat himself to fast food.
The refrigerator jokes a lot and is ironic, his monologues will especially appeal to adults. Meanwhile, new heroes appear on the stage all the time – products that do not speak, but express their emotions and character in the dance. Children especially like to guess which heroes are on the stage right now – vegetables, fruits, dishes. The costumes in the production are simply stunning, creative, bright and fantastically sewn. In general, there are about forty costumes in the play, and each hero has a name. "Parsley in a hat" and "Kapuystyna Iryna," "Brothers Sardelkiny," "Yayko Pobigayko" and "Grusha Tanyusha."
Ekateryna Sigida: "We are used to the fact that when something is connected with family and children, it is, excuse me, cheap animation. And so in this project we decided to show very cool costumes, author's music, comedy for all ages and realize it all at a high European level. Not to prove something to anyone, but because we can. Because we are already a European country."
The next performance of "Refrigerator House" is scheduled for September 24 and will also take place at CEC Parkovy.
The event takes place on the third floor of the complex in the
Convention and Concert Hall.
