On July 3-4, the Parkovy Congress and Exhibition Center hosted an event dedicated to the closure of the first mentoring program "Generation of Victory" of the Educational foundation GoGlobal with the participation of the Minister of Education and Science Oksen Lisovyi and Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science, and Technology Development Mykhailo Fedorov.
Within the framework of the program, 148 high school students from the frontline communities of Sumy, Kharkiv and Chernihiv regions made up for educational losses for 3 months, worked with mentors and psychologists, and created social projects for their communities.
The event took place on the left side of the
Big Exhibition Hall, fenced off by mobile soundproof partitions, where guests, participants, and representatives of the mentor program were freely accommodated. A place for a catering area was also allocated, where guests had the opportunity to eat and network.
The Ministry of Education and Science seeks to maintain motivation to learn and improve the emotional state of students and, in particular, plans to scale initiatives to the front-line and border regions. The main goal is to catch up on the educational losses of adolescents, career guidance, psycho-emotional support, the development of soft skills and socialization.
"One of the most important results that we were able to achieve – 94% of boys and girls are ready to continue their studies in Ukraine. The Generation of Victory mentoring program has become a support and platform for the development of young people who need it most," – GoGlobal Director Tetiana Kovryga said.
