On September 19-20, a double event from the National Media Association was held at the Parkovy Congress and Exhibition Center. One of them is National Media Talk 2024, where representatives of media and international organizations, leading journalists and public figures gathered together to summarize 2024 and discuss next year's prospects.
The event was held in half of the Big Exhibition Hall with an area of 1000 sq.m. On another part of the location of a similar area, the New Age Media Summit 2024 took place, the details of which can be found in this material.
The seventh NMT 2024 media conference was launched by US Ambassador Bridget Brink, stressing that thanks to Ukrainian journalists, the world knows about russia's crimes, and their fixation will become the basis for justice in the future. "Free and independent media should be the fundamental principle that will guide you down this path," – Ms Bridget added.

The event was attended by leading speakers and media representatives, among whom were: Djinni Burgo – President of Internews Network, Gillian McCormack – Director of Internews Network in Ukraine, Head of the USAID Media Program in Ukraine, Vlasta Lazur – Radio Svoboda, Olga Rudenko – The Kyiv Independent, Serhiy Cherevaty – Ukrinform, Yaroslav Yurchyshyn – Committee on Freedom of Speech of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Valentyn Koval – National Council of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasting, Boris Davydenko – Forbes Ukraine, Christina Kotsira – hromadske.ua, Julia Mostovaya – Mirror of the Week, Andriy Boborykin – Ukrainian Pravda; Galyna Petrenko – Detector media, and many others.
The organizers allocated a separate part of the location for the catering and networking zone, where guests could chat, relax and discuss the details of the event.
