On April 10 in Kyiv, the first Forbes Development 2025 construction forum was held, bringing together those who shape the architecture of Ukraine’s success: builders, developers, architects, industrialists, financiers, and government officials.
The forum welcomed over 250 guests and became a platform for open dialogue, experience-sharing, and forming a shared vision for the future of Ukraine’s infrastructure.
The event took place in Parkovy’s
Convention and Concert Hall on the third floor. The organizers built a large curved stage with a screen, where leading experts delivered their talks.
Across three thematic discussion blocks, more than 30 speakers took the stage, including:
- Norman Foster, President of the Norman Foster Foundation, Founder and Executive Chairman of Foster + Partners;
- Oleg Drozdov, architect, founder of the Drozdov & Partners architectural bureau;
- Ihor Nikonov, founder of KAN Development;
- Andriy Zhurzhiy, founder of Inzhur;
- Hanna Laievska, Commercial Director at Intergal-Bud and Head of the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine’s Development Committee;
- Valeriia Kolomiiets, Director of Conservation and Ukraine Reconstruction Initiatives, WWF-Ukraine.
The forum explored how to return to a trajectory of sustainable growth in construction, housing reconstruction, infrastructure, and urban spaces. Discussions focused on transforming cities into comfortable living environments and on the potential of reconstruction as a driver of economic growth.
In the pre-function area, organizers set up vibrant banners, a brand wall, and several partner stands.
