2023 was a year of search and transformation for us. During the period of regular attacks from the enemy – we equipped a shelter on the -1 floor. In conditions of complete blackout – Parkovy CEC worked uninterruptedly on powerful generator complexes.
Despite all the challenges, our priority always remains the safety and comfort of our partners, customers, guests, and colleagues of the complex.
In the first month of 2023, 7 events took place at Parkovy. In the last – 40 ones. In general, during the year, the CEC hosted more than 250 events of various formats – conferences, exhibitions, congresses, concerts, shootings, private and corporate events. Today we will remember the key ones.
Spring was remembered by a great event from UNICEF, which brought together government officials, representatives of embassies of other countries, Ukrainian business and non-governmental organizations to discuss the vision of restoring Ukraine. The event was also attended by First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska and UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador Orlando Bloom.

Also, singer Olya Polyakova chose Parkovy to present the new show program. The Convention and Concert Hall of the third floor became a place of strength for the artist, where she held three large-scale concerts in the spring with great success.

Summer was really hot! Almost every day our complex was chosen for large-scale significant events.
Then in June, the CEC Parkovy hosted an event organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine – a reception on the occasion of the Independence Day of the United States. AmCham Ukraine gathered together the main representatives of sustainable business, CEOs and business leaders – more than 300 guests, addressed by US Ambassador Bridget Brink and President of AmCham Ukraine Andy Hunder.

In July, another influential organization celebrated an important date in the complex. The Franco-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry welcomed guests on the occasion of Bastille Day. The event brought together more than 700 guests, including government officials, foreign diplomats, business representatives, as well as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Ukraine Etienne de Poncins and President of CCIFU Bertrand Barrier, who noted the need to support Ukraine and the Ukrainian people.

The summer season ended with the first Ukrainian conference of bloggers called "Orange Forum." This event brought together opinion leaders, successful businessmen and representatives of charitable organizations on one stage. From the stage of Parkovy, Sergiy Pritula, Masha Efrosinina, Irina Gorova, and other successful Ukrainians addressed the guests.

The autumn business season started with the VI International Specialized Exhibition of Retail and Development Industry – RAU Expo, which gathered 1,300 guests from companies – market leaders. The expo zone of the exhibition was presented by about 60 companies, including Dragon Capital, Budhouse Group, Bizerba, Fondy, Cleaning Pro Group, Textilbox, Fly Kids, CHM Software, Promodo, SMART business, Midsun, Svitlotek, Viatec, Altea Group, TekstilBox, Quantula, Ava Tech, Halytska svizhyna, Lumiere, Diodika, Synergy Construction, SEC Podolyany, SEC Port City, etc.

We cannot ignore the event with no analogues in Ukraine – "Svoe.IT. Showroom of Ukrainian software”, which took place on September 8. The purpose of the exhibition was to popularize Ukrainian software among a wide range of users and forever abandon russian software. More than 1,500 guests tested more than 30 programs from Ukrainian development companies.

Also, September was marked by the investment forum "Kharkiv: Restart," dedicated to the restoration of the Kharkiv city. The event was attended by Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Oleksii Kuleba, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk, people's deputies, representatives of state agencies, international investors, industrial enterprises.

October started with the long-awaited BE WINE SHOW, which took place for the first time after the outbreak of full-scale war. The event brought together the best local and international producers, restaurateurs, hoteliers, wine industry experts, professional sommeliers and connoisseurs of wine cultures – for two days the event was attended by 4,500 wine connoisseurs. The Be Wine Show 2023 featured:
- more than 120 brands of wine and spirits;
- 42 bars;
- 88 tastings and lectures;
- 63 speakers;
- 29 partners;
All these were located on two floors and in 8 halls of the Convention and Exhibition Center Parkovy, where such a number of stands, events, and guests could comfortably accommodate.

In November, the annual Donbas Media Forum conference was first held in Parkovy. The media conference was dedicated to the transformations experienced by the domestic media during the war, and their role in achieving victory and post-war recovery, took place at the main locations of the Parkovy Congress and Exhibition Center and lasted two days.
Within two days, hundreds of guests from all over the country attended numerous panel discussions with the participation of statesmen, Ukrainian and foreign politicians, media experts. During the conference, the organizers equipped a reserve room in the
location-shelter on the -1 floor of the Parkovy in case of an air alert. The fears were not in vain, but thanks to the backup site, the organizers were able to continue the work of the forum during the 3.5-hour air alarm, which lasted in Kyiv on the first day of the event.

The highest reward for our team is when clients become partners, and partners become friends. In December, the Association of Retailers of Ukraine returned to Parkovy with two final events – RAU Summit and RAU Awards. The guests of both events were top managers and line managers of companies that not only provide Ukrainians with everything necessary during a full-scale war, but also play a key role in the formation and development of a civilized retail market in the country.

On December 10, a charity auction, organized by BMW Motorrad Ukraine, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of BMW Motorrad, was held at Parkovy. 6 exclusive lots were presented, the main of which was the BMW R 18 motorcycle, known as the "Indestructible." This motorcycle, which won this year's world championship in customization, got a second life after the destruction in the Kharkiv dealership.
All funds collected at the auction will be used to purchase buses for family-type houses under the care of the Olena Zelenska Foundation.

We have achieved a lot this year. We helped many important projects to find their voice and be heard. We became a platform for finding key solutions for the development of our state. We found new friends and strategic partners.
