On April 16, Parkovy Convention and Exhibition Center hosted New Makers Kyiv 2026 — an annual event for Ukrainian manufacturers that brought together around 800 owners and top managers of manufacturing companies. The event was organized by the network of industrial parks Formatsia by Alterra Group.
New Makers is a community that unites Ukrainian manufacturers to exchange experience, find partners, and enter export markets.
The central theme of the forum was automation and its impact on the labor market. Participants of the panel discussion “People and Technologies: How Automation Strengthens Teams and Opens New Roles” reached a shared conclusion: automation does not take jobs away, but changes roles and requirements for people. Today, manufacturers are not looking to replace employees with technology, but to scale production with their existing teams.
The discussion featured representatives of ARAMIS Laser Systems, MHP Logistics, PRANA, KR Ingredients, KSE ProfTech, and Talanty by Formatsia. The panel was moderated by Yurii Svirskyi, CEO of SK Industries.
Speakers discussed the transformation of professions: in metalworking, demand is growing for CNC machine operators, while in welding, there is an increasing need for specialists in cobot programming. A separate block was dedicated to the talent shortage and strategies to overcome it — from using AI to scale training to building partnerships with universities.
The event occupied the entire third floor of the complex. In the
Convention and Concert Hall, a stage and theatre-style seating were arranged for panel discussions. The
summer terrace became a networking area. Partner stands and catering were placed in the
conference zones.
New Makers Kyiv 2026 became a platform for dialogue about the future of Ukrainian industry, new technologies, and the development of manufacturing teams.
