Park Hall Event Space hosted the National Forum “FAST Heroes”, which brought together more than 70 participants from all over Ukraine — educators, healthcare experts, and program ambassadors.
The event united those who work every day to ensure that children, families, and school communities can recognize the signs of stroke in time and know the life-saving response algorithm.
The forum became a space for active professional dialogue about the development of the program, new opportunities for scaling it, and real cases of implementation in educational institutions. Throughout the day, speakers talked about those who consistently integrate a culture of quick response and responsibility into the school environment.
One of the key moments of the program was the performance by the students of Oksana Herasymova, a teacher at Kyiv Lyceum No. 315. The children performed a song and superhero dance about recognizing the signs of stroke and knowing what to do in a critical situation.
As part of the forum, the top schools and classes in the program ranking were also recognized, along with Rivne and Khmelnytskyi regions, which became the first Angels regions in Ukraine ready to fight a stroke. Separate certificates were awarded to all project ambassadors who train teachers.
Over five years in Ukraine, the international FAST Heroes program has involved more than 9,000 teachers, 2,000 schools, and taught 110,000 students how to save lives.
A conference setup was created at the venue: theatre-style seating with soft chairs and a stage with an LED screen for presentations. The organizers also arranged a branded FAST Heroes photo zone, where participants took team photos and connected with one another.
The closed, heated terrace of Park Hall Event Space was set up as a catering area with buffet tables for guests and participants. Mobile soundproof partitions divided the space into two sections and ensured a natural flow throughout the event.
The international FAST Heroes program is implemented in Ukraine by the One Health agency with the support of the Angels Initiative, and is approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the World Stroke Organization.
