On May 27, the “Education of the New Ukraine” conference was held at Parkovy Congress and Exhibition Center, organized by the Ministry of Education and Science under the auspices of the Office of the President of Ukraine. During the event, the results of educational transformations and steps towards the largest-ever renewal of educational infrastructure were presented.
The event took place on the third floor of the complex, particularly in the
Convention and Concert Hall. The spacious 750 sq.m. venue served as the platform for the official part of the conference, where leading speakers shared educational insights:
- Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk emphasized that the state’s task is to create opportunities that will help Ukrainians succeed in the new realities.
- Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal stressed that our country is investing in education, safety, and opportunities for children and youth.
- Vice Prime Minister for Innovations, Education, Science and Technology Development — Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov spoke about the ongoing transformation of the education system amid the full-scale war.
- Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Oksen Lisovyi highlighted the importance of developing safety infrastructure and provided examples of successful reforms.
The speakers also discussed three key transformations fundamentally changing the educational ecosystem in Ukraine: safety, infrastructure, and the content and quality of education.
In the pre-function area, the organizers set up interactive partner integrations, while on the
summer terrace, guests could relax, enjoy the views of the capital and the Dnipro River, have coffee, and engage in discussions about educational processes.
