On September 12, the 10th anniversary IT Ukraine GR Conference 2024 was held at Parkovy Congress and Exhibition Center. The event attracted the attention of representatives of the state, business, lawyers, financiers, HR specialists and other experts, uniting them to discuss the key challenges and opportunities of the industry in the conditions of war.
IT Ukraine GR Conference 2024 is:
- more than 45 leading speakers;
- at least 450 participants of the offline event;
- over 2,000 online viewers;
- 2500 sq.m. for networking;
- 12 hours of intense program.
"We live in an era of rapid change, when technology has become an integral part of not only business, but also public administration. The program of this year's GR conference is about the power of Ukrainian IT: how we overcome challenges and apply opportunities, about the high level of the IT industry and very practical directions," – commented Maria Shevchuk, Executive Director of the IT Ukraine Association.
The event took place on the ground floor of the complex – in the
Big Exhibition Hall and the
Small Exhibition Hall, located opposite each other, where performances of leading speakers and discussions on socially significant topics were lasting simultaneously.
Given the scale and richness of the program, it was important for the organizers to divide the event into several parallel panels. Thanks to the convenient placement of locations, guests were able to quickly move between different formats of performances without wasting time and not missing important information.
The conference program consisted of insights at the intersection of technology and law, offering rich and expert content to hundreds of participants: from general issues of European integration to the nuances of compliance in global markets.
The conference was opened by the newly appointed Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration – Minister of Justice of Ukraine Olga Stefanishyna.
"The more developed we are, the easier it is for us to become part of a large European market of 500 million consumers with access to another 2.5 billion consumers around the world. The products of the IT industry have no boundaries and borders, and for us these are great opportunities," – said Olga Stefanishyna.
During the event, guests could attend 4 panel discussions that unfolded on extremely important topics:
- "Ukraine's Integration into the EU Digital Single Market: Regulatory Changes and Opportunities for the Ukrainian Digital Sector."
- "Ukraine Facility: Digital Transformation."
- "Investments and M&A in IT business: market overview and forecasts for strategizing."
- "The Age of AI and Innovation: How Regulation is Changing Intellectual Property Today."
In addition to the large stage with theatrical seating for participants, the location also housed partner stands and a catering area where guests could chat, eat and participate in networking.
In addition, guests and participants of the conference had the opportunity to join the expert speeches. Thus, in the
Big Exhibition Hall there were 2 case-studies on "Everything you wanted to know about Diia.City: taxes, latest updates, insights" and "GovTech: How to interact with the authorities and create large-scale projects together," as well as 3 public interviews.
At the same time, in the
Small Exhibition Hall, experts shared their own experience and valuable knowledge in the format of battles in the following areas:

Guests had the opportunity to visit the battles, and then quickly return to the Big Exhibition Hall and listen to other exciting performances by top speakers.
