On September 25, at Parkovy Congress and Exhibition Center, “Ekonomichna Pravda” edition held a forum "Ukrainian Export: Is the Window Opening?," which brought together representatives of export business from most sectors of the economy, international and non-governmental organizations to discuss the state and problems of foreign trade. In total, the forum was attended by more than 260 people, including representatives of 17 embassies of foreign states.
The event took place on the third floor of the complex, in the
Park Hall Event Space – a location with two large halls, namely:
- A spacious hall with a stage where guests could listen to speakers.
- Warmed terrace-transformer closed type, which was presented as a catering and networking area.
The forum was attended by Deputy Minister of Economy – Trade Representative of Ukraine Taras Kachka, Deputy Chairman of the National Bank Sergiy Nikolaychuk, Managing Director for Financial Institutions of the EBRD Francis Malige, Ukrainian journalist, editor-in-chief of the online publication "Ukrainska Pravda" Sevgil Musaieva, top managers of the largest domestic exporters – Interpipe, Nibulon, Kernel, and also representatives of small and medium-sized businesses and industry associations.
During a five-hour event, which included three panels and two public discussions, experts were talking about important economic initiatives, such as the opening of the sea corridor, improving the discipline of exporters in the return of foreign exchange earnings, promising sectors of the future for Ukraine and much more.
At the event, exporters raised questions about the financing of export projects, so the answers were sought by the director of the Center for Economic Strategies Hlib Vyshlinsky in a conversation with the managing director of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in the direction of financial institutions Francis Malige and the director of the corporate business department of the public sector of Ukreximbank Oleg Savin.
The final panel brought together representatives of small and medium-sized businesses in one circle: the operating director of the bionic brush manufacturer Esper Bionics Anna Believantseva, co-founder of the company "Athlone Avia," which produces complexes "Furia," Artem Viunnik, co-founder of the military clothing brand M-TAC Olexandr Karasev and founder luxury clothing brand GASANOVA Elvira Gasanova.
Panelists discussed strategies for entering foreign markets, expansion plans and challenges faced.
During the event, as well as after the official program of performances, guests and participants had the opportunity to participate in networking and exchange experiences on the spacious closed terrace of the
Park Hall location. Thanks to the mobile glass partitions between the halls, both spaces of the location were combined, so everyone could listen to the speakers of the event both in the main hall and on the terrace during the rest.
