On 4–5 October, the Congress and Exhibition Centre Parkovy welcomed the two-day Amputee Rehab Summit 2025. The event brought together around 800 in-person participants and more than 1,000 online viewers, all focused on multidisciplinary solutions for rehabilitation of patients after amputation.
The Summit became a powerful professional platform for sharing the latest knowledge and hands-on experience in rehabilitation, prosthetics and pain management – areas that are critical for the recovery of those affected by the war.
The event simultaneously occupied two locations on the first floor of the complex. In the Big Exhibition Hall, the organisers created a large conference space with theatre-style seating so as many guests as possible could attend lectures from leading experts. The hall also hosted an expo area with major partner stands, installations and banners.
Leading experts from the USA and Ukraine spoke at the Summit, sharing their knowledge and the latest developments, alongside senior representatives of relevant ministries and the diplomatic corps. Among the speakers were:
At the same time, expert sessions were also held in the Small Exhibition Hall. Thanks to the unique configuration of the complex and the proximity of the spaces, guests could move between locations in just a few minutes and attend all key activities.
Conference rooms were additionally used for important discussions – they can be either combined with the main hall or zoned into separate areas as needed.
The Amputee Rehab Summit 2025 also became an important educational event: offline and online participants could complete an electronic test and receive 10 CPD (continuous professional development) points, confirming that the event meets the requirements of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
On the initiative of Protez Foundation and the MHP-Hromadi Charitable Foundation, a fundraiser was held to support the 13th Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine “Khartiia”. In total, the event raised over 782,000 UAH for Ukrainian defenders.
We thank the organisers for choosing Parkovy and hosting the Summit at our complex.
