On December 18 at the Parkovy Congress and Exhibition Center, a large-scale event took place that brought together IT company executives, government representatives, and international partners to present the annual results of Diia.City.Union's activities and to strategically discuss the future of Ukraine's technology sector.
The
Park Hall Event Space location served as the epicenter of the event. The organizers divided the space into two parts:
- A setup with seating arrangements and a technological stage, where experts and partners delivered presentations;
- A networking zone on a closed terrace, where guests gathered to exchange impressions and relax.
The event's speakers were:
- Mykhailo Fedorov, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine for Innovations, Education Development, Science, and Technologies — Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine;
- Yegor Razogryeyev, General Director of the Directorate of Digital Development, Transformation, and Digitalization of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine;
- Taras Kytsmey, President of Diia.City.Union and co-founder of SoftServe;
- Valeriya Kushnerchuk, Executive Director of Diia.City.Union, who presented the Union's performance results;
- Mark Lennon, Head of Global Strategic Initiatives, Accenture.
The highlight of the event was the inspiring speech by the Ambassador of Ukraine to the United Kingdom, General Valeriy Zaluzhnyi, who shared his support for the Ukrainian IT community. In his speech, the Ambassador emphasized that innovation is a key factor in winning the war.
Following this, a lively panel discussion took place during which the speakers discussed win-win strategies and effective cooperation between the state and business. The discussion's speakers were:
- Vitaliy Kindratov, Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine;
- Nataliya Denikeieva, Director of the IT Industry Development Directorate at the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine;
- Denys Sychkov, Principal at Horizon Capital;
- Vladyslav Tkachuk, Marketing Director at GlobalLogic Ukraine;
- The discussion was moderated by Borys Davydenko, Editor-in-Chief of Forbes Ukraine.
