On October 24, CEC Parkovy hosted the Business Summit 2024, organized by the USAID Investment for Business Sustainability Project (USAID IBR). The event gathered more than 450 offline guests and more than 1000 spectators who joined through the broadcast on Youtube.
At the event, participants discussed the challenges faced by micro-, small and medium-sized enterprises (IHRs) and shared information on the possibilities of attracting funding through co-financing and co-investment programs from the USAID Investment for Business Sustainability Project. Such support is important to ensure the economic stability of the country of Ukraine in the conditions of war.

The guests were greeted by Julie Konen, Director of the USAID Mission in Ukraine and Yulia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Economy of Ukraine. Rafael Jabba, Head of the USAID Investment for Business Sustainability Project and Julia Vitka, Deputy Head, presented the results of the first year of the Project and talked about further plans.
And representatives of the National Bank of Ukraine and the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine outlined macroeconomic forecasts that are important for entrepreneurs to consider when planning their activities.

During one of the panel discussions, the speakers discussed the possibility of small and medium-sized enterprises receiving affordable financing from financial institutions-partners of the Project, in particular, lending from OTP Bank, leasing from Credit Agricole Bank, factoring from the financial company Activitis through the eDilo platform. The experts also talked about the already successfully implemented programs with the insurance company UNIVERSALNA and the leasing company Best Leasing.
Another panel discussion was devoted to joint investment programs from the USAID IBR Project. The company "Uterm Ukraine" (a leading manufacturer of radiators), Suziria Group (one of the leaders of the Ukrainian market of goods for animals), a well-known manufacturer of carpets "Carat" and DELTA FOOD, which develops the production of sauces and ketchup, shared their experience of cooperation with the USAID IBR Project and provided valuable advice to future participants of the program.
The last panel discussion was devoted to the issue of IHR insurance against military and political risks.
During the event, guests could get acquainted with presentations and success stories of partner companies of the USAID IBR Project.
