On Tuesday, November 26, the Franco-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIFU) invited the Franco-Ukrainian business community to celebrate a double anniversary: the 30th anniversary of CCIFU’s presence in Ukraine and the start of the Beaujolais Nouveau season. The event took place at the Parkovy Congress and Exhibition Center.
The event was held in the Big Exhibition Hall. The organizers set up a large stage for the business community’s presentations. In total, the venue accommodates up to 1,500 people in a buffet format, allowing the comfortable and convenient placement of guests.
This significant occasion demonstrated France’s economic presence in Ukraine, which plays a vital role in the country’s economy. With nearly 120 member companies—75% of which have operated in Ukraine for more than 15 years—French enterprises have shown remarkable resilience. In 2022, French companies invested EUR 130 million despite the full-scale Russian invasion, bringing their total investments to EUR 3.4 billion since entering the market.
Despite numerous challenges, no French company left Ukraine, even during power outages, port blockades, and other consequences of the Russian invasion.
Building on 30 years of commitment, CCIFU is already planning future initiatives to support its members and actively contribute to Ukraine’s reconstruction. These three decades are just the beginning, as CCIFU continues to implement bilateral cooperation between France and Ukraine for many more years.
Parkovy Team thanks the organizers for choosing the complex to host this socially significant event!
