On February 7–8, the All-Ukrainian ballroom dance tournament “Freedom to People” will take place at the Parkovy Convention and Exhibition Center. The event will bring together dancers from all over Ukraine, as well as coaches, judges, and other admirers of competitive dance.
Freedom to People is a competition that combines professional sport, the culture of movement, and an open space for self-expression. The tournament will gather participants of different ages and levels of training—from beginners to experienced athletes—who will compete in the Standard and Latin American programs.
The competition program is divided into two days: on the first day, the European (Standard) program will take place (Slow Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Foxtrot, and Quickstep); the second day will be dedicated to the Latin American program (Cha-Cha-Cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble, and Jive).
The event will be held at Parkovy for the first time, allowing for a comfortable combination of the competition arena, spectator area, and technical infrastructure for a dynamic tournament format. Professional stylists and specialized dance shops will also operate on site. The general partner of the event is the logistics company FTP.
