On May 15 and 16, the Parkovy CEC in Kyiv will host the second UKRAINIAN CONSTRUCTION CONGRESS, which has significantly scaled up this year, consolidated the Ukrainian government, business, public organizations and structures, and will become a platform for a number of events of international and Ukrainian organizations.
In addition to its own program, which will consist of discussion panels, speeches and presentations of experts from different directions, the second UKRAINIAN CONSTRUCTION CONGRESS will host its own events of the Association of Small Cities of Ukraine, which will gather 200 heads of communities and present a platform "Supermarket of solutions for communities,", which will enable business to enter the municipal market, the Association of ATO Veterans, whose participants will discuss the topic of veteran entrepreneurship, as well as events of the Union of Real Estate Specialists and the International Business Community Board.
According to Minister of Social Policy Oksana Zholnovych, there are 3 million people with disabilities in Ukraine, besides this number is constantly increasing, including due to hostilities. Therefore, the key theme of the congress will be the restoration of Ukraine, taking into account barrier-free and inclusiveness.
The Congress will traditionally become a platform for constructive dialogue, exchange of ideas and thoughts between the authorities, developers, architects, builders, manufacturers of building materials, the public sector, and other industry participants.

A separate important part of the congress will be the panel "The work of international and Ukrainian funds, the main directions, key projects and initiatives." During it, participants will discuss prospects both in construction and in other areas, ways of interaction with communities, NGOs and business.
Within the concept framework of rebuilding Ukraine, conceptual plans "Steel Dream Bakhmut" and "Steel Dream Mariupol" will be presented. And 2 certificates for the development of such plans for two interested communities will be raffled off.

Within the framework of the congress, the first time announcement of the winners and the award ceremony of the independent construction award "CREATOR OF THE YEAR - 2024" will be held.
The awards will be given to companies, industry experts and projects in 15 categories in the categories of "Construction," "Architecture," "Business in the construction sector." The full list of nominations can be found on the website of the award.
The winners will be selected by an honorary jury and a qualification commission, which includes leading Ukrainian architects, chief architects of cities, restorers, accessibility experts, as well as Christos Passas – director of the world's top architectural bureau Zaha Hadid Architects, Hiroki Matsuura – architect, urbanist, founder of MASA, MADMA urbanism + landscape, and Tatiana Lomakina – Commissioner of the President of Ukraine for barrier-free. The chairman of the jury of the award was Julian Chaplinsky, a famous Ukrainian architect, urbanist, chief architect of Lviv in 2015-2018.
