Tech 360: Policy, Talents & Growth

We are counting down to Tech360: Policy, Talents & Growth — a major new event by the IT Ukraine Association that will take place at Parkovy CEC on June, 17. The event will be a unique platform for meaningful dialogue, strategic decisions and experience exchange.

The event will feature over 50 thought leaders and experts from the public and business sectors as speakers, and hundreds attendees offline (in Kyiv) and online. The networking 360° format will bring together key players in business and education, including:

  • company founders, CEOs, CBDOs and CISOs;
  • representatives from business, government and military sectors;
  • financiers, investors, and donors, sales and export managers;
  • legal advisors and IT law consultants, HR specialists and recruiters;
  • experts in brand and digital communications, marketers and PR specialists.

Expect a rich program on three tracks — Policy, Growth and Talents.

TRACK 1

State & Technology: Strategic Alliance — discussions at the intersection of technology and law, an overview of current legal and strategic issues in the IT industry, and dialogue between the state and business to create favorable working conditions – key topics include:

  • Business and the state: modern formats of partnership and institutional interaction.
  • Tech Diplomacy: Ukraine as the architect of a new digital Europe and partnerships in cyberspace.
  • AI and National Security: challenges, regulation and Ukraine's path to European standards.
  • Defense technologies: close cooperation between the state, military and IT business.

TRACK 2 

Beyond the Code: Developing and Scaling IT Business — effective strategies for promoting IT products in international markets, new approaches to building brands and marketing campaigns in various technological verticals —  key topics include:

  • Promising markets: where is the demand now and what are clients looking for?
  • Successful cases of Ukrainian IT companies entering the USA, EU, LATAM, MENA.
  • Localisation vs globalisation: how to find a balance between exporting IT services and developing technological solutions for the domestic market?
  • VC and M&A during the storm: what are investors looking for in the IT market today?
  • Features of communications in the IT market: how to build trust with partners and clients during business scaling and in times of crisis.

TRACK 3

Human First: Education, Recruitment, Development, Motivation — modern approaches to human capital development: supporting talent, educational initiatives, and opportunities for professional growth in a globally competitive environment – key topics include:

  • AI and recruitment automation: the fast track to the perfect candidate.
  • Universities and the IT market: how to adjust training to real needs?
  • Global reform of IT education: synergy between EdTech, government, and business.
  • The reality of the labor market in 2025: Talent Shortage or Skill Mismatch.
  • Veterans in IT: adaptation, education, and employment.
  • The role of educational products: is education keeping up with the changes?

We invite IT companies and organisations with tech divisions to submit their projects for the Tech360: Brand Impact 2025 Award — an award that recognises the most impactful communication initiatives in the IT sector, organised by the IT Ukraine Association with support from YouScan.

The aim of the award is to recognise the solutions and achievements of IT companies addressing key business and industry development challenges in the following categories:

  • GR (supporting government projects, collaboration with authorities);
  • Growth (promotion of a brand or product in the Ukrainian market);
  • Talents (solutions in the fields of education, science, and human resource development);
  • Assistance for Victory (support for the army, mine clearing, adaptation and rehabilitation of veterans, aid for the children of heroes and IDPs);
  • Industry Landmark Project (a significant project not covered by the above categories, but meeting the competition criteria).

Click here to apply for the competitive selection — submissions will be accepted from April 23 to May 14, 2025. Competition selection criteria:

  • The project must have a defined start and end (starting no earlier than July 2024; at the time of application, the project should be completed);
  • The project must be implemented in Ukraine (the IT company or tech division that executed the project must be operating in Ukraine);
  • The project must have a unique identity (name, format, hero, etc.) and must not be a permanent initiative of the company over multiple years;
  • Public announcement of the project (covered in the media and/or social networks);
  • Each company can submit up to one project in each category.

The award results will be announced on June 17, 2025, at the Tech360: Policy, Talents & Growth.
