Odessa International Film Festival is the main festival of national cinema. It is at OIFF that the premieres of the most anticipated national films take place, as well as young talents debut.
This year the Odessa International Film Festival will be held from 12 to 20 July in Kyiv. The festival program consists of competitive and non-competitive sections, as well as events for film professionals.
In particular, the audience will be waiting for the National Competition Program, the European Competition Program, as well as a number of special shows, Gala Premieres, documentary hits, the Festival of Festivals program and much more. They have a unique opportunity to be the first to see both national premieres and foreign hits that have managed to conquer international film festivals like Cannes, Venice, and Berlinale.
Thus, the guests of the OIFF-2024 will be the first to see the new film by the famous director Yorgos Lanthimos "Kinds of Kindness," the adventure saga "The Count of Monte-Cristo," the feminist body-horror "Substance," the Ukrainian "The Witch of Konotop," and many others.
Industry professionals will meet at the Film Market and at the Film Industry Office, where a series of round tables, meetings and discussions will take place with the participation of leading Ukrainian and international film professionals, as well as the presentation of projects at the “Work in progress” stage.
In addition, the 15th OIFF will host the Summer Film School, which is a series of meetings, master classes and discussions with leading Ukrainian and international film professionals.
