National Media Talk (NMT) 2023 is a significant event that traditionally brings together the media community for productive dialogue on today's most important events, industry challenges, journalistic standards during wartime, inevitable market transformations, and new trends.
This year's NMT 2023 conference will take place on October 12-13 in Kyiv, at the Parkovy Congress and Exhibition Center.
Within the framework of NMT events, we annually discuss the direction of the Ukrainian media industry, create a community of forward-thinking individuals ready to make changes and innovations, and globally analyze what is happening with journalism in the world and in Ukraine in particular.
Traditionally, we invite speakers who are experts in the field, understand the Ukrainian media landscape, analyze the market, and find new solutions to complex challenges.
The main program themes and speaker presentations this year will cover current topics in the media industry: finding solutions and overcoming contemporary difficulties, media management as a business/successful models, monetization and the economic aspect of media businesses, new opportunities for the media industry, industry analysis, audience statistics and research, media content consumption analysis, and personnel in the media sphere.
We will discuss state support and funding for the media, inevitable changes in the media market, and future scenarios, as well as new trends in work, AI, innovative solutions, and new technologies.
We will also hold panel discussions on such important and pressing topics of today as telethon, media in occupied territories, accreditation and journalists' access to the front lines, journalistic standards, and ethics during wartime.
